The Coaching Methodology followed by the CSS-Whatmore Centre for Cricket is one which has been scientifically crafted to progressively improve the Cricket Skills, Physical & Mental Fitness of the individual, enabling him to bring out the best of himself. It is a proven method which has brought immense benefits to many top level cricketers around the world. In India this methodology is followed only in the National & Zonal Cricket Camps of the BCCI, which is available only to a select group of cricketers who have already represented their states and zones. CSS-Whatmore Centre for Cricket now brings this methodology to the cricketers at all levels, guided by Dav Whatmore who is not only a world renowned coach for National teams, but was also the Director of National Cricket Academy of the BCCI. He was responsible for establishing most of the systems and protocols for coaching, which is followed till date.
What sort of Physical Fitness Training will my ward get at the Centre?
All trainees will go through a comprehensive Fitness Test at the outset. Based on the results, they will be given an exclusive Fitness Development Program comprising elements of Strength, Endurance, Power, Speed, Agility & Flexibility.
Will the trainees play matches during the camp?
Trainees staying for a week will have a match simulation with other trainees in the camp and those staying for a month will get to play 3 – 4 matches during the tenure of the camp.

Joining the CSS-Whatmore Centre for Cricket is a complete experience for every individual. Not only are they exposed to the finest methods of Cricket Coaching under the guidance of quality coaches, the Medical Assessments and Tests will reveal health problems if any and they get the benefit of improving their physical fitness in a very scientific manner. Besides counseling by Psychologists, they are made world ready by being imparted Life Skills, so important in every aspect of one’s career and life.
What are the accommodation facilities at CSS-Whatmore Centre for Cricket?
Trainees can choose to stay either at the Guest House inside the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed to be University) premises which will cost them Rs. 490/- per day for a Double A/c Room (twin sharing) or at the 3-Star Business Class Hotel nearby offering an A/c Double Room at USD 50 per day.
How safe is my ward at the Campus?
The Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed to be University) Campus is a self contained mini township with round-the-clock security manned by professionals. Students are very safe while inside the campus and besides the trainees will have a Camp Co-ordinator who will look after their needs.
